One of the original 1991 4-door Typhoon/Jimmy SLT test mules has gone up for auction. These were to test the waters for a 4-door option that never gained any traction. This one has actually been part of a private collection for years, so I’m surprised to see it on the block for so cheap. While I’d like to say I’d buy it and keep it as pristine as possible, this would be the ultimate sleeper to me. So unassuming. It’s been up for sale quite a few times, and was fully restored a while ago. It’s been listed at $12,995 before, so I’m guessing there is a reserve here.

Yeah, that’s cool.
Well, not actually cool in the way that a normal person would use the word. But I think it’s cool.

No. I would be happier with a regular 2dr version.

Very cool, but the ugly stereo faceplate pains me a bit.

Agreed, very 1999. Although this is what was stock.

Those Jimmys/Blazers look so awkward as a four door.
